 ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਰਾਜ ਟੈਨੇਸੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰੋਗੇ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਕੁੱਤਾ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲੀ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ? 

ਹਾਂ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਪਰ ਇਹ ਸੱਚਾਈ ਹੈ। ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਲਤੂ ਕੁੱਤੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲੀ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਮਾਲਕ ‘ਤੇ ਗਲਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਗੋਲੀ ਚੱਲ ਗਈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਮੈਮਫ਼ਿਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਿਸਤਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੌਂ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਾਲਤੂ ਕੁੱਤੇ ‘ਓਰੀਓ’ ਨੇ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਬੰਦੂਕ ਦੇ ਟਰਿੱਗਰ ‘ਤੇ ਪੈਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬੰਦੂਕ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗੋਲੀ ਚੱਲ ਗਈ।

ਪੁਲਿਸ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਕੁੱਤਾ ਓਰੀਓ ਜੋ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਪਿਟਬੁੱਲ ਹੈ। ਖੇਡਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ, ਉਹ ਗਲਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਟਰਿੱਗਰ ਗਾਰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਟਰਿੱਗਰ ਦੱਬਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਗੋਲੀ ਚੱਲ ਗਈ । ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਿਸ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਬੰਦੂਕ ਸੀ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਰਘਟਨਾਤਮਕ ਸੱਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ। 2018 ਵਿੱਚ, ਆਇਓਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ। ਪੀੜਤ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਸਾਥੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕੁੱਤਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਚੰਚਲ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਧਰ-ਉੱਧਰ ਛਾਲ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਉਸਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਬੰਦੂਕ ਦੀ ਸੈਫਟੀ ਆਨ ਰੱਖੋ ਜਾਂ ਟਰਿੱਗਰ ਲਾਕ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰੋ।

A bizarre incident recently unfolded in Tennessee, where a pet dog accidentally shot its owner. The incident occurred in Memphis, where a man was asleep in his bed with his partner when his one-year-old pitbull, Oreo, unintentionally stepped on the trigger of a gun. The gun fired, striking the man’s left leg and causing minor injuries. He was quickly taken to the hospital and later released after receiving treatment.

The police report revealed that Oreo was playing when his paw got caught in the trigger guard, causing the weapon to discharge. However, the report did not specify what type of firearm was involved. Authorities have classified the incident as an accidental injury.

While gun-related accidents are not uncommon in the U.S., incidents where animals discharge firearms are rare. In 2023, a similar case occurred when a German Shepherd accidentally shot and killed its owner. Another incident in 2018 in Iowa involved a dog unintentionally firing a gun. The victim's partner in the Tennessee case noted that the dog is very playful and often jumps around. She advised others to ensure their gun safety mechanisms are engaged or use a trigger lock to prevent such accidents.
