ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ 2 ਲੱਖ 71 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਦਮ

 ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿਵਿਆਂਗਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਲਈ 437.15 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। 

ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਤੇ ਬਾਲ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਡਾ. ਬਲਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਕੀਮ ਅਧੀਨ 2 ਲੱਖ 71 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਵਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ 437.15 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦਿਵਿਆਂਗਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਲਈ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚਾਲੂ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਾਲ ਦੌਰਾਨ 461.50 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਬਜਟ ਉਪਬੰਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚਲਾਈਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ’ਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਣਗਹਿਲੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਨੂੰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚਲਾਈਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਗੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।

The government has allocated Rs 437.15 crore in financial aid to support the welfare of individuals with disabilities. Dr. Baljeet Kaur, the Minister of Social Security, Women, and Child Development, shared that this initiative has benefited approximately 2.71 lakh people. She noted that the department has disbursed Rs 437.15 crore to these beneficiaries. Additionally, the state government has invested Rs 461.50 crore in the current financial year for the welfare of the disabled, with adequate budgetary provisions in place.

Dr. Kaur cautioned officials against any mismanagement in the implementation of these government schemes, emphasizing that strict action would be taken against any officer or employee found negligent. She also urged the officials to ensure that the programs under the Social Security Department are executed with full transparency.
