ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਖੰਡਵਾਲਾ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਠਾਕੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਮਾਕਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਹਮਲਾਵਰ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ ਸਵਾਰ ਦੋ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਦਰ 'ਤੇ ਬੰਬ ਵਰਗੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਸੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸੀਸੀਟੀਵੀ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਸਾਫ਼ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸੀਸੀਟੀਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ 'ਤੇ ਆਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਝੰਡਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਰ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਰਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਮੰਦਰ ਵੱਲ ਕੋਈ ਸੁੱਟੀ।

ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਭੱਜੇ, ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਜ਼ੋਰਦਾਰ ਧਮਾਕਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੇਰ ਰਾਤ ਲਗਭਗ 12:35 ਵਜੇ ਵਾਪਰੀ। ਹਮਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੂਰੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਹਿਸ਼ਤ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਮੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਪੁਜਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੌਂ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਖੁਸ਼ਕਿਸਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਵਾਲ-ਵਾਲ ਬਚ ਗਏ।
ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸੀਸੀਟੀਵੀ ਫੁਟੇਜ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਇਹ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹਮਲਾਵਰ ਕੌਣ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਹਮਲੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਖੰਡਵਾਲਾ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰੀ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਇਸ ਹਮਲੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਹੈ।

ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਨਵੰਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਸ ਪਾਸ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਧਮਾਕਿਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਿਸੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸਥਾਨ ਜਾਂ ਮੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਏ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਧਮਾਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਥਾਣਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਚੌਕੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।
An explosion occurred at the Thakurdwara temple in the Khandwala area of Amritsar. Two young men on a motorcycle carried out the attack, throwing a bomb-like object at the temple, as seen in the CCTV footage.
The police have seized the CCTV footage and launched an investigation. Preliminary findings show that the attackers, holding a flag, stood outside the temple for a while before throwing an object towards it. A loud explosion followed shortly after they fled the scene. The incident took place around 12:35 am, and while the temple's priest was inside and asleep at the time, he fortunately escaped unharmed.
The police are currently investigating the case, focusing on identifying the attackers and their motives. This incident has caused widespread panic in the area.
This marks the first time a temple has been targeted in the series of blasts that have occurred in Amritsar and nearby districts of Punjab since November of last year. Previously, most of the explosions had occurred near police stations and police posts in the region.
