ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੱਸਾਂ 'ਚ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਝਟਕਾ, ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਬੰਦ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ ਬੱਸ ਅੱਡੇ; ਘਰੋਂ ਨਿਕਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦਿਓ ਧਿਆਨ

 ਪੰਜਾਬ 'ਚ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਅਹਿਮ ਖਬਰ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰੋਡਵੇਜ਼ ਪਨਬਸ ਪੀ.ਆਰ.ਟੀ.ਸੀ. ਕੰਟਰੈਕਟ ਐਂਪਲਾਈਜ਼ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਦੀ ਸੂਬਾ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਡਿਪੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਠੇਕਾ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੈਗੂਲਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਦੇਰੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਬੁਲਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੁਲਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਟਰਾਂਸਪੋਰਟ ਕਾਮਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ‌ ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲਗਭਗ 8 ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਲਗਭਗ 8 ਮਹੀਨੇ ਬੀਤ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਠੋਸ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਟਰਾਂਸਪੋਰਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਜਲਦੀ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੈਗੂਲਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਵਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਕੋਈ ਠੋਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।

ਟਰਾਂਸਪੋਰਟ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਲਾਪਰਵਾਹੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਰੋਸ ਹੈ। ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਰੇਸ਼ਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਿੱਲ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ੇਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਹੇਠ ਹੋਈ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਮਲ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਹੁਦੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ 13 ਮਾਰਚ ਤੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਡਿਪੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੜੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, 19 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਸਥਿਤ ਪੀ.ਆਰ.ਟੀ.ਸੀ. ਹੈੱਡਕੁਆਰਟਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। 26 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਹੈੱਡਕੁਆਰਟਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਜੇਕਰ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕੋਈ ਠੋਸ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਤਾਂ 3 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੱਸ ਅੱਡੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਨੇ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਤਾਂ 7, 8 ਅਤੇ 9 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਜ ਵਿਆਪੀ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

A significant development has emerged for bus passengers in Punjab. The Punjab Roadways Punbus PRTC Contract Employees Union held a state-level meeting where they strongly criticized the Punjab government's anti-employee stance. Representatives from various depots across the state attended the meeting to express their opposition to the delay in regularizing contract workers.

The speakers highlighted that the Chief Minister had assured in July that the demands of transport workers would be addressed within a month. However, after nearly 8 months, no significant action has been taken. Despite the formation of a committee and a subsequent assurance from the Transport Minister to resolve the issue soon, the employees claimed that they had already submitted all the necessary documents for regularization, yet no concrete steps have been implemented.

The transport department's negligence has sparked widespread protests among employees. During a meeting led by union president Resham Singh Gill and general secretary Shamsher Singh Dhillon, along with other office bearers like Kamal Kumar and Balwinder Singh, a series of protests were announced. The union stated that from March 13, protests will begin in all Punjab depots. On March 19, a demonstration will be held outside the PRTC headquarters in Patiala, followed by another protest on March 26 at the Chandigarh headquarters. If the government fails to take any decisive action, the union plans to shut down bus stands across the state on April 3. Furthermore, a statewide strike involving government buses is planned for April 7, 8, and 9 if the demands are not met.
