ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ''ਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਵਾਰਦਾਤ! ਲੰਗਰ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਦਾ ਛਕ ਰਹੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦਾ ਕਤਲ

 ਤਹਿਸੀਲ ਬਾਬਾ ਬਕਾਲਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਚੂੰਘ ਵਿਖੇ ਅੱਜ ਕਰੀਬ 2:30 ਵਜੇ ਵਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਾਮੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਦਭਾਗੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ। 

ਉਕਤ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪਿੰਡ ਚੂੰਘ ਵਿਖੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਲੰਗਰ 'ਚ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਦਾ ਛੱਕਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਥੇ ਹੀ ਕਰੀਬ 6 ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਘਾਟ ਉਤਾਰ ਦਿਤਾ। 

ਥਾਣਾ ਮਹਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਐੱਸਐੱਚਓ ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ੇਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਪਿੰਡ ਚੂੰਘ 'ਚ ਲੰਗਰ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਉਕਤ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਉਸੇ ਲੰਗਰ ਚ ਆਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਥੇ ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਾਪਰ ਗਈ। ਥਾਣਾ ਮਹਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਨਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਾਰਤੂਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਾਲੀ ਖੋਲ ਵੀ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪੋਸਟਮਾਰਟਮ ਲਈ ਸਿਵਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਬਾਬਾ ਬਕਾਲਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਲਿਆਂਦਿਆਂ ਗਿਆ। ਇੱਥੇ ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬੀਤੇ ਕੱਲ ਵੀ ਗੋਲੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਨਾਲ 13 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।

Youth Murdered in Village Chungh; Another Shooting Incident Reported

A tragic incident occurred today at approximately 2:30 pm in village Chungh, located in Tehsil Baba Bakala Sahib, where a young man named Varinder Singh was shot dead by a group of six unknown assailants. The victim had gone to the langar (community kitchen) in the village to receive prasadam when the attack took place.

Shamsher Singh, the SHO of Mehta police station, stated that the langar was being run for the devotees en route to Sri Anandpur Sahib. Varinder Singh, the deceased, had visited this langar when he became the target of the assailants. Police from Mehta station have recovered spent cartridge shells from the crime scene, and the body of the victim was taken to Civil Hospital Baba Bakala Sahib for a postmortem.

This incident comes just a day after a similar tragedy in which a 13-year-old player lost his life in another shooting. The police are investigating both cases.
