ਹੋਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਦੇਰ ਰਾਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਾਪਰੀ ਸੀ। ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਖੰਡਵਾਲਾ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਠਾਕੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਦੇਰ ਰਾਤ ਧਮਾਕਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਹਮਲਾਵਰ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ ‘ਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋਕੇ ਦੋ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਸਨ,
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗ੍ਰਨੇਡ ਸੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਮੰਦਰ ‘ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਸੀਸੀਟੀਵੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਮਲਾ ਸਾਫ਼ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਠਾਕੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਹੋਏ ਧਮਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਕਨੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਉਭਰ ਕੇ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਆਈਜੀਪੀ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਵੱਲ ਇਸ਼ਾਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਇੰਸਪੈਕਟਰ ਜਨਰਲ ਆਫ਼ ਪੁਲਿਸ (ਆਈਜੀਪੀ) ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਹਮਲੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਖੁਫੀਆ ਏਜੰਸੀ ਆਈਐਸਆਈ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸੀਸੀਟੀਵੀ ਫੁਟੇਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਬਾਈਕ ਸਵਾਰ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੇਖੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਜੀਪੀਐਸ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਵੇਰੇ 2 ਵਜੇ ਮਿਲੀ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਈ। ਫੋਰੈਂਸਿਕ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨੇੜਲੇ ਸੀਸੀਟੀਵੀ ਫੁਟੇਜ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਖੁਫੀਆ ਏਜੰਸੀ ਆਈਐਸਆਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁੰਮਰਾਹ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਫੈਲਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਲਝਾ ਲਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ ਲਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਹਮਲੇ ‘ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਭੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ, ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਬਰੀ ਵਸੂਲੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸੂਬੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਥਿਰ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਰਚੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹੋਲੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਈ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਠੀਚਾਰਜ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ, ਪਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਘਟਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਾਪਰੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਾਤ 12 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੁਝ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਬਦਮਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਮੰਦਰ ‘ਤੇ ਗ੍ਰਨੇਡ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਨੀ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਬੂ ਹੇਠ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੋ ਸ਼ੱਕੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ 24 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਫੜ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
A blast occurred late on the night of Holi in Amritsar, Punjab, at the Thakurdwara temple in the Khandwala area. The attack, which involved two youths on a motorcycle throwing a grenade, was clearly captured on CCTV. Investigations suggest a possible Pakistani connection to the explosion. Both Punjab's Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the state's IGP have pointed to this link.
The involvement of Pakistan's intelligence agency, the ISI, has been highlighted by Punjab's Inspector General of Police, Gurpreet Singh Bhullar. He noted that the two suspicious individuals seen on the CCTV footage will soon be identified and arrested. Bhullar emphasized the role of ISI in attempting to destabilize Punjab by misleading the youth.
Amritsar Police Commissioner GPS Bhullar shared that the police were alerted to the incident at 2 am, and they quickly responded to the scene. A forensic team was deployed, and nearby CCTV footage was analyzed. He further mentioned that the ISI is actively trying to create unrest in Punjab. The police are confident that the case will be solved soon, and the perpetrators will be caught. Bhullar also urged the youth to stay away from activities that could ruin their lives.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann condemned the attack, stating that various efforts are underway to disturb the peace in Punjab. He pointed to conspiracies aimed at making the state appear unstable through drug-related crimes, gang violence, and extortion. Mann also highlighted that, unlike many other states, no lathicharges were needed in Punjab during Holi, signaling that law and order remains strong and peace prevails.
Punjab Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal provided further details, confirming that the grenade was thrown after midnight, but thankfully, there were no casualties. He assured the public that the situation is under control and that swift action is being taken. Dhaliwal also mentioned that two suspects have already been identified and the police are confident that the culprits will be caught within 24 hours.
