ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਅਰਬ ਅਮੀਰਾਤ (ਯੂ.ਏ.ਈ) ਤੋਂ ਭਾਰਤੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ਖ਼ਬਰੀ ਹੈ। ਯੂ.ਏ.ਈ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਆਨ ਅਰਾਈਵਲ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੈਧ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ, ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ੀ ਪਰਮਿਟ ਅਤੇ ਗ੍ਰੀਨ ਕਾਰਡ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਭਾਰਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। (13 ਫਰਵਰੀ, 2025 ਤੋਂ ਸਿੰਗਾਪੁਰ, ਜਾਪਾਨ, ਦੱਖਣੀ ਕੋਰੀਆ, ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ, ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਤੋਂ ਵੈਧ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਧਾਰਕ ਵੀ ਯੂ.ਏ.ਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ 'ਤੇ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੋਣਗੇ। )ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਆਨ ਅਰਾਈਵਲ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਨਾ ਵੀ ਹੋਵੇ। ਇਹ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਾਨ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਈ.ਟੀ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਯੂ.ਏ.ਈ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਕਦਮ ਨਾਲ ਦੁਬਈ ਅਤੇ ਅਬੂ ਧਾਬੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਧਣਗੇ। ਇਹ ਯੂ.ਏ.ਈ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਹੱਬ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਯੂ.ਏ.ਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇਹ ਨੀਤੀ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ, ਯੂਰਪੀਅਨ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਯੂ.ਕੇ ਦੇ ਵੈਧ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਲਾਗੂ ਸੀ। ਹੁਣ ਯੂ.ਏ.ਈ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਵਿਸਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਛੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ- ਸਿੰਗਾਪੁਰ, ਜਾਪਾਨ, ਦੱਖਣੀ ਕੋਰੀਆ, ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ, ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਜਾਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਭਾਰਤੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਯੂ.ਏ.ਈ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਆਸਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਜਾਣੋ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ
ਯੂ.ਏ.ਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਆਨ ਅਰਾਈਵਲ ਲਈ ਯੋਗ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਛੇ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵੈਧਤਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਇੱਕ ਆਮ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਹੋਣਾ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯੂ.ਏ.ਈ ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਲਾਗੂ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਫੀਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ। ਯੂ.ਏ.ਈ ਵਿੱਚ 14 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਠਹਿਰਨ ਲਈ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਫੀਸ 100 ਦਿਰਹਮ ਹੈ। ਇਸਨੂੰ 250 ਦਿਰਹਮ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ 14 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਹੋਰ ਵਧਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ 250 ਦਿਰਹਮ ਵਿੱਚ 60 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਭਾਰਤੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਯੂ.ਏ.ਈ ਆਉਣਾ ਆਸਾਨ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਯੂ.ਏ.ਈ ਦੇ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਰਥਿਕਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਦਦ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।
There is exciting news for Indian citizens traveling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The UAE has expanded its Visa on Arrival program for Indian passport holders. As of February 13, 2025, Indian nationals with valid visas, residence permits, or green cards from six additional countries—Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada—can now receive a visa on arrival in the UAE. This program allows travelers to enter the UAE without having a visa in advance, simplifying the travel process.
This expansion of the program, according to an ET report, is expected to create more housing and job opportunities for Indians in major UAE cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It will also reinforce the UAE's position as a global hub. Previously, the Visa on Arrival policy was limited to Indian nationals with valid documents from the United States, the European Union, and the United Kingdom. Now, with the inclusion of six more countries, it will be easier for Indians residing or working in those nations to visit the UAE.
Eligibility for the UAE visa on arrival requires travelers to have an ordinary passport with at least six months of validity. Visa fees are applicable according to UAE regulations, with a 14-day stay costing 100 dirhams. The visa can be extended for an additional 14 days for 250 dirhams. Alternatively, a 60-day visa is available for 250 dirhams. This initiative is designed to make travel easier for Indian citizens and boost the UAE's tourism and economy.
