 ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਵੀ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੜਕਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਆਏ ਹਨ। 

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ‘ਸੱਥ’ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਬਦਸ/ਲੂਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਲੱਗੇ ਝੰਡਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਟਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਰੋਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਰ/ਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੈਰ-ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਆਬਾਦੀ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਧ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਿਛਲੇ ਹਫਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਲੂ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਉਥੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਕ/ਰਾਰ ਹੋਈ, 

ਜਿਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸੰਤ ਜਰਨੈਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਝੰਡੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੱਸਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਹ/ਮਲੇ ਹੋਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਦੋ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਬੱਸ ਅੱਡੇ ’ਤੇ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੱਸਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਸੰਤ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਚਿਪਕਾਏ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਤਲ/ਵਾਰਾਂ ਲਹਿਰਾ ਕੇ ਧਮ/ਕੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ, ਕੰਡਕਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਸ/ਹਿਮ ਗਏ।

ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮਾਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਨੇ ਚੇਤਾ/ਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੱਸਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਨਾ ਰੁਕੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਅੱਜ ਤੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਲਈ ਬੱਸ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਮਸਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਡਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਹੈ।

ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਲਗਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਖਰੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਬੱਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੀਸ਼ੇ ਤੋ/ੜ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਦ/ਸਲੂਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਤ ਜਰਨੈਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਝੰਡੇ ਹਟਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਭੜ/ਕ ਉੱਠਾ ਹੈ। ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਰਾ/ਰਤੀ ਅਨ/ਸਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਾਈ ਗਈ ਚੰਗਿਆੜੀ ਹੁਣ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਂ/ਬੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

A small issue in Himachal Pradesh has escalated into a significant prob/lem, causing un/rest in Punjab. The matter began when some mischievous elements misbeh/aved with Sikh youth in Himachal and removed flags of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale from vehicles. In response, the youth in Punjab became vio/lent. On Tuesday, protests took place, where Himachal buses were ha/lted, posters of Sant Bhindranwale were displayed, and a bus window was shat/tered in Kharar.

This issue, which began on a small scale, has now created a major challenge for the governments of both states. The matter was brought up in the Himachal Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu assured that he would discuss the situation with Punjab’s Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Additionally, the acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Kuldeep Singh Gargajj, urged Chief Minister Sukhu to intervene.

Following the bus att/ack in Kharar, President of the Himachal Drivers Union, Man Singh Thakur, warned that if the att/acks on Himachal buses do not stop, they would be forced to ha/lt bus services to Punjab. He called on the leaders of both states to resolve the issue swiftly. There is also gro/wing conc/ern among people from Himachal working in Punjab.

This dispute began last week when a large group of devotees from Punjab reached Kullu, Himachal, on motorcycles. Tens/ions arose after local people removed Sant Bhindranwale’s flags from their motorcycles. Since then, Himachal buses in various parts of Punjab have been targ/eted. Two days ago, Sant Bhindranwale’s posters were placed on Himachal buses at Hoshiarpur bus stand, accompanied by th/reats and swo/rd-wa/ving, causing fea/r among drivers, conductors, and passengers.

In response, students from Punjab have also taken to the streets to protest the mistreatment of Sikh pilgrims in Himachal Pradesh. At Panjab University in Chandigarh, the student organization ‘Sath’ organized a protest, with several other student groups lending their support. The student leaders expressed concern about the increasing number of non-Punjabi people in Punjab, urging the state government to pass a law restricting the influx of outsiders.

Leaders of various student organizations, including Darshpreet Singh, Ashmeet Singh, Gurdarshan Singh from ‘Sath’, Gagan from Punjabnama, Gurdeep from the Ambedkar Students Forum, and Sandeep from Students for Society (SFS), stated that incidents of removing Nishan Sahib and pictures of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale from Sikh pilgrims’ vehicles in Himachal have been ongoing for years. They described these as continuous atta/cks, driven by deep-seated hatr/ed towards Sikhism rooted in Hind/utva ideologies.

These att/acks are seen as an ass/ault on the Sikh identity. The leaders pointed out the growing settlement of non-Punjabi populations in Punjab, which they believe is part of India’s colonial policy. They argued that this influx is contributing to the erosion of Punjab’s cultural identity, and emphasized the urgent need for Sikhs to organize and resist this trend.
