ਸੰਗੀਤ ਜਗਤ ਤੋਂ ਮੰਦਭਾਗੀ ਖਬਰ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਫਿਲਮੀ ਸਿਤਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਹਸਤੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਕਿ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਅਸਾਮੀ ਸੰਗੀਤਕਾਰ ਲਕਸ਼ਹੀਰਾ ਦਾਸ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਮਰ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੇ/ਹਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। 94 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਅਲਵਿਦਾ ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਸੰਗੀਤਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਦੇ/ਹਾਂਤ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਜਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਗ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਦੌੜ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਸੰਗੀਤਕਾਰ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਟਨ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਾਮੁਕਤ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ ਸੀ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਆਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਰੇਡੀਓ ਤੋਂ ਗੀਤਕਾਰ, ਸੰਗੀਤਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਇਕਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਈ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ 1948 ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸਨੇ 2,000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਗਾਣੇ ਲਿਖੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਗਾਇਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਗੀਤ ਲਿਖੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
50 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ
ਲਕਸ਼ਹੀਰਾ ਦਾਸ ਨੇ ਕਵਿਤਾ, ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ, ਛੋਟੀਆਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ, ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸਮੇਤ 50 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਵੀ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਸਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ-ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਸੰਗਠਨਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਈ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ 'ਸਾਹਿਤ ਅਕਾਦਮੀ', 'ਆਥਰਜ਼ ਗਿਲਡ ਆਫ਼ ਇੰਡੀਆ', 'ਪੋਇਟਰੀ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ ਆਫ਼ ਇੰਡੀਆ' ਅਤੇ 'ਅਸਾਮ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਸਭਾ' ਦੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਵੀ ਸੀ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਿਮੰਤ ਬਿਸਵਾ ਸਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ 'ਤੇ ਸੋਗ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਣਮੁੱਲੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਟਵਿੱਟਰ ਅਕਾਊਂਟ 'ਤੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ, "ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਣਥੱਕ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਸੰਵੇਦਨਾਵਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਨ। ਓਮ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ।"
Sad news has emerged from the music world, leaving both fans and numerous political and film personalities deeply saddened. The renowned Assamese musician Lakshyara Das pass.ed away on Saturday due to age-related health issues. She was 94 years old. Her family confirmed the news, and her pa.ssing has created a wave of sorrow across the music industry.
Lakshyara Das was a retired professor from Cotton College and made history as the first woman to be recognized as a lyricist, composer, and singer by All India Radio back in 1948 while still a student. Over her remarkable career, she composed more than 2,000 songs, recently writing for some of the most prominent singers. She also lent her voice to many songs in recent years.
Apart from her musical achievements, she was an accomplished writer, having penned over 50 books, including poetry, children's stories, short stories, educational works, and translations. Her contributions to literature were equally significant. Lakshyara Das received numerous awards from the state government and various socio-cultural organizations. She was a member of esteemed bodies like the Sahitya Akademi, the Authors Guild of India, the Poetry Society of India, and the Assam Sahitya Sabha.
The Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, expressed his condolences on her passing. He paid tribute to her immense contributions, particularly her efforts toward empowering women. He wrote on Twitter, "She worked tirelessly for the empowerment of women, and her legacy will inspire future generations. My heartfelt condolences to her family and the many admirers she left behind.
