ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਸ਼ਾਮ 7 ਵਜੇ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਦੀ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਸੱਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਕੁਰੂਕਸ਼ੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਾਇਬ ਸੈਣੀ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਘਿਰਾਓ ਕਰਨ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ, ਪਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਲਿਆ।
ਫਿਰ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਗ ਪੱਤਰ ਸੌਂਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਮਿਆਦ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂ ਜਗਜੀਤ ਡੱਲੇਵਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਛਾਉਣੀ ਦੇ ਪੀਡਬਲਯੂਡੀ ਰੈਸਟ ਹਾਊਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜੋ ਫੌਜ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਆਏ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਧੱਕਾ-ਮੁੱਕੀ ਵੀ ਹੋਈ। ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਪਿਮਸ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

ਸ਼ੰਭੂ ਅਤੇ ਖਨੌਰੀ ਸਰਹੱਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ 13 ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੱਗੀ ਬੈਰੀਕੇਡਿੰਗ ਹਟਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੋਂ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਤੱਕ ਸ਼ੰਭੂ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਡੀਆਈਜੀ ਹਰਮਨਬੀਰ ਗਿੱਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਹੁਣ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਅੰਬਾਲਾ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਾਈਡ ਵੀ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ਼ੰਭੂ ਅਤੇ ਖਨੌਰੀ ਸਰਹੱਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨਕਾਰੀ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਟਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਫੜਾ-ਦਫੜੀ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸਾਨ ਸੜਕਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਆਏ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਥਾਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਝੜਪਾਂ ਵੀ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਕਿਸਾਨ ਲੀਡਰ ਅਭਿਮੰਨਿਊ ਕੁਹਾੜ ਨੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੀ ਫੇਸਬੁੱਕ 'ਤੇ ਪੋਸਟ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰੀਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਤੰਬੂ ਉਖਾੜਨ ਨਾਲ ਰੁਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਕਿਸਾਨ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ 2.0 ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਸ਼ੰਭੂ ਅਤੇ ਖਨੌਰੀ ਸਰਹੱਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਹਟਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਫੈਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

Police have arrested several farmer leaders who came to meet him, leading to scuffles. After his arrest on Wednesday afternoon, Dallewal was first taken to PIMS Hospital in Jalandhar.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has called an emergency cabinet meeting at 7 pm today. In Kurukshetra, farmers attempted to surround Haryana Chief Minister Naib Saini's residence, but police stopped them. The farmers then submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister's representative, giving the government a month to address their demands.
