 CBSE ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਹੋਲੀ ਦੇ ਤਿਓਹਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ 15 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਤਜਵੀਜ਼ਤ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਬੈਠ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ 12ਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੇਪਰ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ।

CBSE ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਕੰਟਰੋਲਰ ਸੰਯਮ ਭਾਰਦਵਾਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘‘ਸੀਬੀਆਈ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹੋਲੀ ਦਾ ਤਿਓਹਾਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਵੇਂ 14 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਕੁਝ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਹ ਤਿਓਹਾਰ 15 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਇਹ ਤਿਓਹਾਰ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ 15 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ।’’

ਭਾਰਦਵਾਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀ ਫੀਡਬੈਕ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਦਾ ਪੇਪਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮਿੱਥੇ ਸ਼ਡਿਊਲ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਹੀ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ 15 ਫਰਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੈਠਦੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰੀਕ ’ਤੇ ਇਹ ਪੇਪਰ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘‘ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਿਸੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਕੌਮੀ ਜਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਖੇਡ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਵਿਚ ਬੈਠਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।’’ 

The CBSE has announced that Class 12 students who are unable to attend the Hindi exam scheduled for March 15 due to the Holi festival will be provided with an alternate opportunity to take the test. CBSE Controller of Examinations, Sanyam Bhardwaj, explained that while Holi will primarily be celebrated on March 14 across most parts of the country, in certain regions it may be observed on March 15 or even solely on that day.

Bhardwaj further clarified that the Hindi exam will proceed as originally planned on March 15, but students who are unable to attend because of the festival will be allowed to appear for the paper at a later date. This arrangement mirrors the provisions made for students engaged in national or international sports competitions, in line with the board’s existing policies.
